Rifle Range

Much like in the Western movies, shooting at tin cans and moving targets with an old style Winchester, Henry rifle, or one of the more modern rifles has been on "The Western Experience Wish List" of our guests for years. Accordingly, we have built a rifle range and as of the 2006 season now offer rifle target shooting to our guests.

All precautions will be taken to assure a safe riflery experience. Among The Hideout staff we have several individuals with a world of experience in hunting and handling guns. In addition to this, we have staff trained as Rifle Instructors to assure you will take home not only the fun experience, but also some useful skills with and knowledge of firearms.

Like the other optional activities, the Rifle Range is not included in the standard Hideout Guest Package, but available on request with a moderate up-charge. See also, Trap Shooting and Hunting .
