Embrace your creative vision and develop a personal style - join us for a weeklong intensive photography workshop with award winning fine art photography Bobbie Goodrich.

We will spend four exciting days photographing horses, wranglers and ranch life in a most unique and diverse location: The Hideout at Flitner Ranch in Shell, WY.

Shell, WY is located at the base of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains. The Big Horn basin is known to host a variety of interesting landscapes and colors that will naturally enhance your photographs.

The last two days will include post production, utilizing innovative techniques Bobbie has developed over the course of her career.

Working from your raw images taken during the shoot, you will acquire the skills and vision necessary to move to the next level in producing fine art you can be proud to claim as your own.

Workshops will be limited in size to a maximum of 12 participants; an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Bobbie will work one on one and collectively with the group, her demonstrations will inspire you to create dramatic and engaging work from in-camera to the final image.

Emphasis will be on keeping strong focus on important subject matter within the frame and removing distractive elements. We will work on composition and cropping, tonal values and hues, creating hard and soft edges to bring the viewer's eye to the subject. Using photoshop and various software plug-in programs, you will build upon your foundation, layer by layer and achieve results far beyond the surface! All skill levels are acceptable as Bobbie's approach to teaching (from her own experiences in attending workshops) is to keep it uncomplicated and fun. This clinic and workshop is for and about the participants and is truly a great opportunity for learning.

In addition to the workshop, your booking fee also includes upscale accommodations at The Hideout, continental breakfast, lunch, cocktail hour and gourmet prepared dinners. Your cabin comes equipped with a wireless access point, telephone (local only, please bring calling card), satellite television, a mini fridge stocked with complementary beer and soda, bath robe and hair dryer.
